How long have you been in business?
The Hope Group is a subsidiary of THG Corporation, which was founded in 1933. It opened its first Parker Store in 1995 and today has seven locations in four New England states.
What is your primary product or service?
The Hope Group is Maine's only authorized Distributor of Parker Hannifin hydraulic and pneumatic products. Those products include hose, cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and instrumentation fittings. In addition, we are an authorized distributor for GE Automation programmable logic controllers.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The company has been a distributor of industrial products for many decades in all New England states.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our employees have many years of specialized training and experience in the hydraulics and pneumatics fields. They are factory certified professionals. As such, they are able to recommend the best solutions for our customers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The Hope Group is part of THG Corporation which has headquarters in Northborough MA, and seven (7) branch locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
