Now celebrating 15 years of symphony concerts in Central Massachusetts.
What is your primary product or service?
The Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra performs 5 classical/ pops concerts each season at the Milford Town Hall.
Providing classical music concerts to Central Massachusetts.
Educating the youth with 3 ensembles- repertory orchestra, wind ensemble and youth symphony.
Chamber music concerts at the Singh Performance Center, Whitinsville.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Early training as a clarinetist and then discovering that this region needed an infusion of quality culture; thereby, a nonprofit organization was created that create music performance opportunities for musicians who live in this region while finding the funding for these concerts from local businesses and corporations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There are no other fully professional symphony orchestras in this region.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are based in Milford, MA and we intend to stay there HOWEVER, we attract concertgoers from all over New England who appreciate the fact that they do not have to drive into Boston to experience World Class performances.
