Clamber Hill opened it doors in May of 1998
What is your primary product or service?
We provide high quality overnight accommodations in a relaxed setting. Our secondary service is romantic fine dining restaurant in a refined country inn setting.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We love to travel, and when we do we love to stay in small inns or bed & breakfasts. We started thinking about opening an inn when we lived in Charleston SC. After living in Charleston for 13 years, we spent 5 years traveling through Europe. We started Clamber Hill upon moving to MA in 1998.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Quality and service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We just have one location. Our expansion has been to add a small restaurant as a service to our overnight guests. It is open to the public on weekends.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located at 111 North Main St (RT 32)in Petersham MA.
Coming from Boston head west on Rt 2 to Exit 17. We are five miles south of the exit, on the right. Coming from Worcester, head northwest on RT 122. RT 32 and Rt 122 join in Barre. Turn right into Petersham when the two roads split. The inn is approx 1.5 miles from the turn on the left. In both cases, watch for the Rt 101 sign, our driveway is directly opposite. The Inn is tucked up into the woods and not visible from Rt 32.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express
Which areas do you service?
We advertise on the internet and have customers from all over the world.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The owners run the daily operations -- that's why we excel at quality and service.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 7 nights a week. Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am. We do our errands and shopping between 11 am and 3 pm so don't expect to find us during those hours.
