Freestyle Weaving Studio
SAORI Worcester is the first studio in the US teaching SAORI, a contemporary improvisational style of hand-weaving from Japan that ANYONE can do. SAORI is, above all, art. It is also therapy, meditation, social interaction, stress relief, and sheer fun.
We have a special mission to create bridges between people with and without various impairments. We also have a special mission to connect weaving, as a universal human activity, to all academic disciplines from elementary to higher education.
